The chemical process of altering the degree of curl formation of hair so that it becomes smoother and less curly is termed as 'straightening'.

The only way to get the above look is by using chemicals that will break the disulphide bonds of keratin in the cortex ( the central layer of the hair ).

At KAMAL'S we straighten hair by using the perm reversal technique that is by using products having Ammonium Thioglycollate which is used to breakup the bond. Here instead of using curlers we straight comb the hair while it is in its softened stage and then make it permanent by using a neutralizer.

Since this is a permanent process, it is advisable to visit our salon, only to regularly straighten the new growth.
